    1966 power brake master cylender

    Hello Again
I need some exspert advice here

This first picture is of a master cylender I had seen on a car,the car was just out of a fresh restoration I did not meet the owner(maybee he is a member and may reconize his master cylender) But as I looked at it it seemed that the BOSSES where the caps screw into are rather tall as compared to the ones I have seen in the past. When I was shopping for one for my car I was advised there was a fellow who was manufacturing these is this one of the remanufactured ones?

This is a picture of one I recentley aquired off ebay and plan to send it out to white post to have it rebuilt for my car.I belive this is a correct original one made by delco. could some one exspain what the symbol is and what the date code is on it

This is now a picture of the one that is on my car now.I purchased this in the fall of 2002 and it does not have a date code or the symbol why would it not have that on it .

I actually have a bunch more photos if needed to answer the questions

As always thanks guys I am stumped on this one.

re white post restoration of brake wheels and master cyls: white post bores and re-sleeves clys with bronze inserts. have dealt with billy at white post and with stainles steel brake(clarence, n.y.).n.y. outfit bores cyl then inserts stainless steel inserts. white post versions leak(bronze is more pourous than stainless) so i'm back with the clarence, n.y. guysmike

Billy has done at least a dozen master cylinders for me, plus several car sets of irreplaceable old 60's Ferrari aluminum master and wheel cylinders over the years; all were flawlessly done, no problems with any of them. He bores them, sleeves with brass (not bronze), and bores/hones again to final size. Very pleased with his work, would recommend him to anyone.
