    C3 1968 Rally wheel paint

I called Quanta and they don't carry the silver with green hue rally paint any more for 68 ralley wheels. Does anyone know the original suppler of the paint and the paint code info or #s? I want to se if I can get the color mixed locally. If not anyone know of any supplers for the paint?

    Thanks, John

      John-----

In a nutshell, what you want is OEM Paints #11025. As far as I know, they are the only current source for the green-hued, argent silver. This paint is expensive---about $25/per aerosol can. So, I recommend that it be used as a top coat only.

I don't know who distributes OEM Products in your area. Contact them for information at www.oempaints.com

I don't think that Eastwood offers the green-hued argent silver used for 1968-69 and, possibly, 1970.

Eastwood is a straight argent silver.

Blend code + proceedure for mixing...

the green hue version of Argent Silver is recited in 'How To Restore & Modify Your Corvette 1968-82' (book is available at the STORE on this site). Also, a proper search of the archieves should produce several prior posts on the subject with the 'secret' disclosed. It's a piece of cake to have it mixed locally in small quantity!

                  Argent silver w/ green hue

Much thanks to all. I got a pint mixed, They put it in 3 aerosol cans for about $50.00 at a local body supply company. Enough to do the 4 wheels.

Thanks for the help with the codes.
