    Hubcaps

Need help identifying what year these hubcaps were used.It is alleged they were used in the early 70's. They consist of splines which form a cone approximately 6-8 inches high, with a ring around the top of the cone. The crossed flags are in the center of the ring. Want to donate to an auction for a friend with cancer, but I need to provide some information on the caps. Thanks

    Re: Hubcaps

You may have the PO2 optional wheel covers. As far as raising money for your friend you might do better on e-bay than at an auction where people are just bidding on hubcaps for a 15 inch wheel. There could be some on e-bay now for sale which would give you idea on price. Price will depend on the condition of the wheel covers. There is a market for them in the Corvette parts wanted.

To help you identify your hubcaps you can use Google, type in 1970 Corvette and go to the first web page and enlarge the photo a green Corvette and see a photo of the PO2 style hubcaps.
