Left and right turn signals don't work at all...When I turn the hazards on, they light up and stay lit/don't blink (with the car running or in accessory). When I totally shut the car off, the hazards work fine.

My first response would be the flasher, but other things could cause it. Bad bulbs on both sides, or bad column switch, etc. There is no reason that the engine running or not would affect the E. flashers. -

I must have electrical gremlins...The harards began to work fine, but the blinkers still don't work. I checked the fuse & it was blown. I replaced it & when I turned the car on, the batt. gague went crazy for a bit & the fues blew again...where should I look?Comment

Sounds like a short to ground somewhere. Pull and check all of the bulbs and sockets first. Make sure they are installed correctly and the correct bulbs are used. I see a lot of 1157s and 1156s put in the wrong sockets. Reinstall a fuse with all of the bulbs removed and see if it blows now. Secondly, the fact that the problem may have connections between the hazzards and the regular blinkers, indicates a possible problem in the column switch. After checking the bulbs you should unplug the column connector and see if the fuse will stay. If not the problem is probably in the column switch.Comment

The turn signals and the Hazard lights use separate flashers, you know the Hazard flasher and lights work ok. Have you removed the turn signal flasher and used a replacement to see if the fuse still blows?Comment

I got it, The flasher unit was bumped up & touching against the radio. It must have crated a short. All is well now. Thanks guys!Comment
