    C3 - valve covers questions

Have 2 small block valve covers that have the high-performance ribbed look.

One has a round hole with a round rubber grommet and the oil hole. It has thse numbers on the inside-3989005 L.H. and 3965542 R.H. It also has pieces of metal sticking up every inch or so on the inside and these seem skinnier than the next valve cover to be described.

Other valve cover has P39655432 LH and P3965544 RH and a little thicker metal projections on the insidce. This has a round hole with round black rubber around it and also has the black Flas emblem.

Does anyone know what cars these parts are for and are they from two different years and two different cars(corvette, camaro, etc.)?

    Peter-----

Given the 3989005 casting number on the right side valve cover, I expect that this is a push-in style oil filler plug. If so, what you have is a set of valve covers for a 71-72 Corvette LT-1 or Z-28 Camaro. The right side valve cover would be generally correct for 70-77 with LT-1, L-46, or L-82.
