C2 Build Sheets late 66's

Where build sheets affixed to the top of the fuel tank starting in the 67 model year, or the late 66's. I have a late 66 (K21 build date) original car. The tank is original, can the sheet be viewed (if there is one), without dropping the tank?

The '66 model year did not have a tank sticker. If you want to check anyway you should be able to see part of the sticker thru the fuel cap area by pushing aside the rubber boot. Typically they were near the filler on later models.

brian: as steve notes, we've never come accross a tank sticker on a pre-67. the place to look is just to the left(drivers side) of the filler neck on the topside of the tank. if your late 66 has one, we'd all like to know more. thanks, mike
