    Restoration Standards

What is the difference between NCRS and Bloomington judging? If there is a difference, should I restore my car to NCRS or Bloomington standard?

    Re: Restoration Standards

The two circuits are VERY similar, but there are subtile differences (see above thread 'add on' post) which owners need to understand. Basically, there's nothing about the basic restoration of a Corvette that can't be easily altered without penalty for campaigning the car at both NCRS and NCCB. The scoring scales are different (4500 points at NCRS = 100% while 8500 points at NCCB = 100%) and there are some caveats to watch out for (e.g. certain items can 'box' you out of an NCCB Gold Certificate award despite the car's overall score). But, both systems, along with the Chevy/Vettefest's Gold Spinner competition, are quite similar and non-exclusive in the objective is for the car to appear to the naked eye as if it could have just rolled off the assy line....
