I have a 1970 Corvette with a 350/300 engine. The passenger side exhaust pipe follows a path from where it mounts to the manifold to within 1/4" of one of the steering arms (maybe the idler arm). There is no grease fitting so the heat factor would not be a problem, but is this normal? To make it clearer the pip mounts to the manifold and then drops down and bends toward the back of the car and as it starts its path to the back of the car it comes real close to this steering linkage. Is there a chance that I have the left and the right pipes mixed up? Just wondering if this is normal?? Thanks
