How difficult is it to replace the amp meter on the 67. And also who sells a correct replacement?

Re: 67 amp meter
It's child's play to pull the ammeter ONCE you've removed the instrument cluster.... Some report having had sucess with partially removing the cluster (getting it free and out about 2-3 inches) and then doing R&R of individual components. But, with this approach it's VERY helpful to have small hands and have studied the back side of an out-of-car instrument cluster to see how this/that gauge is attached before tackling the job.
On getting a replacement; these WERE generally available but NOS originals are drying up quickly with prices bidding up smartly these days. Most, simply pull their defective gauge and send it off to an instrument rebuilder. You 'can' drive the car without the ammeter installed for the month or so that it's out for repair....- Top

Keith:
I'm really please with the job Corvette Instrument Service did on my entire cluster for my '65, particularly the oil and temp gauges. Roger at CIS (Coral Gables, FL) recalibrated all of my gauges, refaced them all (a convertible that sat out in the rain a lot with the previous owner), and replaced the lenses and lens gaskets. It was a real bargain, as far as I'm concerned. E-mail me off line and I'll be more specific as the to the cost.
