    Fan clutch markings

Does anyone know the meanign of the 2 digit ink stamping on the fan clutch. I know that the CK is correct for a 65 396. What about others? Does anyone have an index of these markings?
    Thanks,
    Rob

Yes, NCRS member Fred Oliva who does fan clutch restoration via his Vintage Automotive Research firm has studied the drawings and contributed the various faceplate ID codes to most of the NCRS Judging Guide publications. Basically, the codes identified a given fan clutch profile (shaft length, mounting hub geometry and clutch internal characteristics defining the %-slip vs. RPM and temperature).

Later, Shark era around '72, additional marks (paint daubs on the hub) would be added to better match rotational inertia (balance) characteristics to the water pump's drive shaft.

I only have the 65 judging manual but would like to have a more comprehensive list. Does anyone have a cross ref list for these markings. If I go the the bone yard and pick through the old stuff the markings would help ID applications.
      Thanks,
