Will original 15x6 rallye wheels have a date code in addition to the "DC" stamp,and if so where is it located and in what format is it.

Rob - The Restorer recently had an excellent article on rallye wheels. The DB Archives will also have additional info. Check them out if you haven't already. '67 rallye wheels had the production codes stamped inside the rim not on the outside face of the wheel. Generally, the wheel size and production code information are all stamped in the same area inside the rim; but depending on 'whatever" the codes might not be stamped, since someone had to do it. It was not a perfect or exact science. The format is month as numbers 1-12 and year as the last two digits of the 1967 production year, 66 or 67. The month stamp and year stamp are two separate stampings. BTW, early '67s can have a B code wheel and I think DC could be DC or DG. Pete- Top
