Does anyone the the date code location and format used on the 1967 ac comp. itself, not the foil label? Thanks

I believe the rear cover of the compressor carries a standard casting date configuration. Early years (63-4-5) use a different case design, not dated but easy to see.

Keith - The AC compressor label on my car has a CODE 072762 (MODEL 5910645). The back plate has a raised oval pad just below the two ports with G226 embossed on it and below the oval pad 6555302 is cast into the plate and R15 is cast into the plate below the 6555302. Hope this helps. Pete
