    68 wiper override light

Can anyone explain the wiper override warning light circuit on 68's? I am reassembling the dash and gauges in my 68, and the wiper override light is staying on all the time. I can't find anything in the shop manual schematic for this circuit! Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks,

    Bob,
I don't have a schematic, or even a wireing diagram, but I believe the wiper over ride light comes on when the large knob (if it is still there) is turned to stop the wipers. That knob is down with the vacuum over ride switches, and is the only rotary knob (might be only the shaft if the knob is missing, like usual). Try turning that and see if the light goes out. I think it will be the left most shaft on your early 1968.

Thanks Terry, I appear to have an intermittant connection somewhere. The wipers are now working again. Intermittant electrical problems are not my favorite!!
