Great idea, I am headed out to due the loosen and torque routine. I am hoping that works, it makes good sense to me taht the flaires need to be seated properly.
Thanks to all who responded, I considered the Dot 5 fluid but was concerned about the incompatability issues.
I did leave the line loose at the master cylinder when I installed all the lines to the block, in fact at the time the body was blocked up about a foot above the frame. A poor mans body almost off restoration.
