I own a 1966 corvette.I have created a restoration book documenting the restoration of the car since I have owned the car.(I do this on all the cars I have restored)I now am in the process of compiling information on how to authenticate 1-A side exhaust car, I plan on doing this on the subject of big block cars and a 390 over a 425 car this winter when I am a little slower.
I will share this information when complete on this web site and another that I had gathered the information from. The pictures I need are as follows
1-under car exhaust picture of the radio grounding straps connected to the crossmember.
2-a picture of the indentations left from the star washer when the grounding straps are attached.
3-a picture of what the rocker panel look like after the rocker panel tangs have been removed or bent out of the way.
4-a picture of a improperly cut bird gage/rocker panel (the notched area behind the clips)
5-a picture of improperly trimmed fiberglass
Any other pictures or information you think might be of good use in this project.I am trying to show pictures of what is correct and then what is incorrect. Please email them to larryvsa@hotmail.com (for some reason my aol account will not accept pictures.)
Thank You for your help.
