    67 rdstr A/C wiring harness

Hi Folks, I'm attempting to install all new wiring harnesses on my 67 small block a/c car, and I'm wondering what I'm supposed to do with the connectors for the fan that are on the main engine harness (there are connectors on the added a/c harness for that). Did the factory cut the connectors off, or tape them to the harness? Its not real clear in the AIM, so if someone could check their car, I'd certainly appreciate it... Unfortunately the old harnesses are all gone. Thanks! Brandon

I did this last year on my A/C Coupe. The branch is bent back toward the firewall and taped. The connectors end up pointed toward the firewall.

Thanks for the prompt reply, John. I'm pretty sure I understand what you're saying about the connectors facing the firewall. I guess that means both connectors are taped up, correct? What type of tape is correct to use, and how much are the connectors covered up? Thanks again, Brandon

I still have the old ignition harness. The wiring in the harness was folded back and taped below the connectors with 5/8 inch plastic tape. The connectors were not covered. Hope that helps.
