I have the original headrests on my seats, but no gasket under the trim plate that is screwed to the seat. The NCRS Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide (section 11 interior section, under Headrests, option A82) says that there is a rubber gasket under the chrome trim plate. Is this true, and if so who sells it? The 1967 AIM, LIC, Paragon and Chicago Corvette don't list or show it in any of their details. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Re: 67 headrests
get a piece of rubber roofing( flat rubber as opposed to a piece of inner tube which has covexities of concavities but will work) from local roofing contractor. also kworks well to line the drawers of your tool cabnet. just use the chrome/stainless(?) bezel as a template , cut the rubber, then install it . good luck, mike- Top
