It never had them. The underbody reinforcement on the inboard side of both seats still had a piece of tape covering the bolt hole. The AIM show that and calls it out as “tape”. It was woven like the old band aids, if ya remember them. About 3 / 4 of an inch square. I can’t believe it actually lasted 47 years. I never had a band aid stay on fer a day or more. If seat belts were ever mounted, that tape would have been long gone and it was covering the hole the belts mount to.
What a farquing hot MF day in the garage. I actually replaced 3 out of the 4 underbody seat belt brackets and one outboard bracket that also mounts the power top. Even had NOS George W. Gayle Hambones and retainers for mounting some NOS Belts. Of course I had to take price tags off them, cause the ain’t fer sale no more. I gotta tell ya, I don’t know what I would do if my wife did not own a Corvette shop.
