I got new frt/rear sway bar bushing from the local shop and they were in the GM boxes. front were #3923674 GR.7.243 Bushing and the rear were 75G7 1 #481432 GR 7.243 Bush. The problem that I see is that the new rears are about 1/2 inch to 3/4 longer and the fronts are also when comparison to the 30 yr old originals. Also the rears have a 1/2 moon core that is on the bottom edge and two small extending ribs toward the top. The question is when I insert these into the black metal carriage(sway bar mt) they extend out a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch instead of flush. I do realize that over time, 30 yrs, that they will break down etc, but am I suppose to draw these hard rubber pieces down that much? That's some hard rubber! I have the 9 leaf, reg 427/390 suspension. the holes are smaller and I realize these are new parts. Are these the correct ## of the parts. jc

Chester----
The bushings that you have are the currently available GM service parts for the applications I believe that you're after(your post is a little unclear). If you want more correct parts, try Dr. Rebuild. Usually, he's good on items like these. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
