    Does anyone know of a supplier of good reproduction seat covers? One of my seams ripped in Nashville.

              Great advice!

              John is the NCRS technical advisor in this area and he specializes in executing 'concours correct' interiors for straight axle cars. Much of John's work begins with 'off-the-shelf' Al Knoch components that John disassembles and selectively re-works to make it truly 'correct'. If you've got original upholstery on something as rare as a '53, John's one of the few guhru's who can verify and repair/preserve/maintain!!!! You'll find contact info for John on the inside front panel of your copy of Restorer magazine.
