    Removing Jet-Hot!!!

I recently purchased an c-2 tri-power intake that has been jet-hot coated. Any ideas on how to remove the coating and get it back to it's stock condtion?

    George-----

That's going to be a tough thing to do. I expect that only some form of abrasive blasting will work. Since these are somewhat valuable manifolds, I would contact Jerry MacNeish at z28camaroman@juno.com. I would ask him if he can do it and, if he can, I'd send the manifold to him for complete restoration to as-new. There's no finer aluminum part restoration service in the business.
