C Intake Manifold Numbers

I removed the incorrect intake manifold from my '56 and replaced it with a correct one recently. The manifold I removed has a part number of 3866922. Does anyone know what year this might have come off of? It is for a single bbl. Thanks.

Probably 55 or 56 passenger car that # is not in Colvin's Corvette #s book.
There should be a casting date on it that will tell you the year.

GM casting #3866922 was originally used for 1965 Chevrolets with low horsepower 283 or 327 engines. It was a one-year-only piece, although it was used for 62-65 SERVICE applications for quite a few years thereafter.
