I have seen two different versions of the original AC Delco GF-90 fuel filter (silver finish, orange screen) that was original equipment on 1962 fuel injected corvettes. These are NOS, not the newly designed fatter filters. One has the word "FLOW" and an arrow beneath the GF-90, and the other has the word "CARB" and an arrow beneath the GF-90. They each have the same part number in an original AC box. Can anyone tell me what is the difference? Did one precede the other? If so, which one was first used? Which is correct for a 1962, or are both correct?
