In the latest issue of corvette fever i had a few questions answered,(before i knew about this site) on my swc non-matching, my carburetor has the model 3878261-EH with list#3310, the answer i received was that it was from a 1965 z16 chevelle, but did not mention the size. then someone else said they also used it on the 396 1965 corvette. was just wondering if anyone knew if it was used on a 65 vette and if they know the cfms. i have a 327 ce with the original 340hp heads and a 67 alum. intake, solid lifters etc,but just curious as to what kind of carburetor i do have, thanks
the 3310 with no - number after the 3310 is from a 1965 396 chevelle,Z-16 and is a 780 CFM. all the later 3310 with a - number are aftermarket carbs. your carb could be very rare if it has the 65 date code. the 3124 was the 65 396/425 HP corvette carb
