67 tri-power carb dates relative to car build date
67 tri-power carb dates relative to car build date
I am looking for quality information regarding the carb dates relative to the car build date for 1967 Corvette tri-power cars. What is the typical lead time that the carbs will lead the engine assembly and the car build date?
Thanks.
Carbs were installed at St Louis, not at the engine build, so the engine date is not of issue. Figure two weeks to six weeks from carb build to installation should be safe, although shorter (and longer) examples have been seen.
Thank you Bill. At what point where the carbs installed on the engines? For instance: Car build date of Nov 28 and engine assembly date of Nov 21. I can assume the carbs were installed approximately 25-28th?
Thanks.
