Had a little mishap in garage today and now have a small divot in the fender of my '73. By the time I fill it, sand it, etc. I will have a spot to paint about the size of quarter. To big to brush on the GM touch-up paint I find in any number for catalogs. I need one of the small spray cans of touch-up paint. Unfortunately the Dupli-color website doesn't list the '73 medium blue metallic (paint code 922). Anybody know where I can find corvette touch-up paint in spray cans?

Floyd,
Some of the better paint/body shop supply houses offer a spray can that they can mix and fill for you if you have the paint code. Usually not expensive either.

I'd find someone in your area who sells lacquer paint, and have them color match a sample exactly to your car. You will likely need to buy a pint or even a quart, but who cares. It will match YOUR car, not some generic color chip in a warehouse. Lacquer is very easy to use to touch up your spot, and you can buy one of those inexpensive aerosol sprayers if you wish.
If you want to see how a touch up bottle of paint can be off in color, stop by and see my Dad's 92 (done before we bought it).
