    C2-1964 Power Brakes - adjustment

Since a total rebuild of the entire barke system, I am having difficulty eliminating the touchiness of the brake system, when you apply the brakes they are so quick to lock up with so little pressure...what is causing this problem. The Booster, MC and wheel assemblies are all completly rebuilt. I have tried to adjust the clevis going into the booster with no luck? andyone have some help?

Overboost is typical of power brake systems from that era. You might try disconnecting it and testing for brake system performance, and in the long run you might want to install a check valve that limits the amount of vacuum to the booster to say 10" instead of the 20" that it sees when you lift off the throttle, or consider a set of lower coefficient linings.
