65 Wheel Covers--Real or Repop?

I'm looking at purchasing a set of wheel covers for my 65. The fellow who has them indicates they are original. How can I tell the difference between the reproductions and the "real thing"?

I might be wrong, but I doubt that there are any 65 repop wheel covers.

Corvette Specialties of Maryland

Dan, Is reproducing them now. They just started a short time ago. I was at the spring Carlise and they had them there. They looked pretty good and the price wasn't bad. I've seen used sets go for a lot more that weren't in perfect shape. Mike
