1967 GAS CAP LID.....

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone had seen the 1967 Gas Cap Lid on ebay recently. Here is the Item number: 2423522852. The auction has ended, but you can search it by the item number. Does this seem to be an original lid? Thanks for any help that is provided.

For those of you who could not attend the National event, what an event!!! Everyone did a great job, thanks to all that made it possible!!!

I'd say the referenced fuel filler door on eBay is, with little doubt, an original 1967 door assembly. Obviously, it would require considerable work/expense to restore it. That's probably why it received no bids.

By the way, the 1967 fuel door was NEVER available from GM in SERVICE. It was always serviced by the 1966 fuel door which also came to be the SERVICE fuel door for all 63-65 Corvettes after the original pieces were discontinued. The 67 fuel door is available in reproduction, though, as are all of the other mid-year doors.
