C2: L36 "tick" heard through tailpipe

I can hear a distinct "tick" through the left tail pipe when the car is at idle. It's a fairly recent phenomenon. I adjusted the valves a few weeks ago per spec process. I don't hear any obvious rocker noise through the valve cover, and the tick wasn't present immediately after adjusting the valves.

All the plugs are burning fine as they show a light tan coloration. Is this a sign of a sticky exhaust valve, bad lifter or? Should I try re-adjusting?

Any suggestions for diagnosing or trouble shooting would be appreciated.

Is it possible you may have developed a very slight exhaust leak on that bank?...head to manifold? just a thought

The "tick" is heard out the back of the tail pipe (N11 exhaust). So the sound comes from inside the pipe, rather than coming from a leak at a joint. It's very crisp/metalic, so that's why I thought it sounded mechanical rather than a leak.
