    Proper heater hose routing 71 350 w/air

The heater hose running from the shut-off-valve to the intake manifold currently is routed over the compressor. I noticed in the build manual that it should run through a clip on the fender, under the compressor, through a bracket under/on the compressor and then it routes up to the intake. I tried this routing but the hose kinks where it connets to the intake manifold fitting...the bend is too sharp. Is the book correct? If yes how can I mount without the kinking problem. Any help of photos are appreciated. bronyaur@att.net

Paul I have bought A/C heater hose that has a slight bend molded into the hose at the intake end but I don't know the vendor. Lyle

      Re: Addendum

Paul The hose routing you described sounds correct and I may have bought the hose from Parogon. I do not know if original hoses had the molded bend but I think it will solve the problem you are having. Lyle
