Hello all -
I have a 71 convertible with power windows. My passenger side window goes say 7/8 of the way up (nice and strong) and then stops and there is a particular clicking sound. To raise the window the rest of the way, I can pull it up and it will stop and seal. If I try to use the motor to take it down, it will not engage unless I push the window down a little. I have not torn the door panel off to check what the actual problem is.
Was wondering if this was a probable alignment issue or if something is foo-fooed with the regulator or gears? If anyone has any ideas or has experienced a similar problem before I get into this, I would love to hear from them.
Thanks in advance -
Pat
