automatic shifter linkage for 1957 Powerglide

    HELP!
Does anyone know where I can purchase an automatic shifter linkage for my 1957 powerglide?? I'll take a used one or a new one-

I'm even considering making one up if I can get the correct dimensions!

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

The bellcrank assembly that bolts to the bellhousing to block area was common to the chevy pass cars of the 55-57 and possibly later era. junkyard time. mike

      Mike -

Don't know if you're talking about the floor shifter (lever) assembly, the rod to the trans lever, or the kickdown linkage assembly, but if a junkyard doesn't pan out for you, Paragon and CC both have the floor shifter assembly, and CC has all the rest of the linkage parts.

        Addendum

Doc Rebuild also has the floor shifter and linkage rod to the trans lever.

There is a 58 Impala in a bone yard near me.If that kick down and bell crank will work I'll be happy to gather them for you.
I have no idea if they are the same but I'm certain someone here will know.

Kick down and bell crank is the same as 55 to 57 Chevy V8 Auto.

The bracket that mounts to the manifold is different on a 1X4 and 2X4 carb setup. You can make the 1X4 bracket fit, but it is not correct. The rest is the same on cars, vettes, and trucks.
