    C3 info

Hello everyone. I am new to Corvettes having just purchased a 73 roadster. I was wondering if there is a source of information that can tell me more about my car. I used to have (sorry) a 70 Mustang. There was a person who I was able to get the original dealer invoice for the car. Also there was another source that gave me the particulars on the exaxct biuld date, options, etc. Does any one have this info for the corvettes? I would like to also know about production numbers for specific colour combos, options etc. I live in Ontario Canada. Does GM Canada have any info?

    Thanks very much

Shawn If your 73 was delivered originaly to Canada their is some of the information about your car that you can get . Their are NCRS chapters in Canada that have many members that could help with your questions. The 73 Techinal Manual& Judging Guide, 73 assembly Manual and 73 GM service manual would be good books for a start and if you join NCRS you get a members price on them. Check the home page for more information. Lyle

Thanks I believe the car is originally a US car that was brought up here about 15 years ago

Don't worry about being a former Mustang owner...You got a Corvette as soon as you could. : )

It's possible that the car may be able to tell you most of that information. Have you checked to see if the tank sticker is still intact or if a build sheet is secreted behind the dash or in a rear susupension component or frame rail?

If the car was delivered to Canada, I think you have a better chance of getting the factory build info from GM Canada than we have for getting it in the States. I understand that factory documents on these old cars still exist at GM Canada, but I do not know the contact info. This topic has been discussed before; you might do a archive search on "GM Canada" or "Canada" and see what comes up.
