53-55 factory keys

i have a set of keys which are on a switchblade sytle key fob.on one side of the fob is a chevy crest and on the otherside is a side view of a white 53-55 vette.can anyone tell me if this is a factory item or aftermarket.

I saw a set of these on Ebay recently. I have never heard/or seen a set that were claimed to be original equipment. They looked like a vintage aftermarket item or a GM promotional item. Eric W. Jackson 53 # 286

I have had a set for 36 years , they were given to owners from dealers,I think they were a dealer option,the GM crest is on the back side showing V's which I think was for the 55 V8 Corvette, The top area is black and bottom red. Others were sold after market and din't have the GM crest and the top area was red and bottom black..They are vary rare today and few people have ever seen one.But remenber NCRS don't like to see a G.M options.

Yes but the colors are black on top and red on the bottom on mine as I stated. This one is just like mine but for the color different. I never seen one with the color like it , But I only have seen a vary few of them and it could be correct because it has the CREST on the back where the after market won't.
