C2 - 1966 Coupe Interior Paint Question

I have a 1966 Trophy Blue coupe with dark blue interior. On the inside of the door pillar, where it wraps around to the vinyl covered cardboard piece, does the color change from exterior to interior or is it all exterior color. I have seen several and they all are different. Some cars change colors at the peak of the turn, going from exterior to interior or in some cases to black, regardless of interior color?

I have 3 midyears, but convertibles. They all change to interior color at the peak you described.

Coupes do the same thing with respect to color change exterior to interior

Is it a clearly defined line, i.e. masking tape, or just a meeting to two spray lines?
