OK, I'm confused... Noland Adams' book says there were four versions of inside rear view mirrors in '63 (actually 2: "guide" stamped and riveted with 3 variations and 1 non-riveted) and he indicates ALL had a date code. The NCRS guide (2nd ED)I have specifically says the earlier riveted version does NOT have a date code, but the non-riveted does. What is correct? I have a loose riveted version, with no date code, and a non-riveted on the car, with the wrong date code. Do I have the riveted one dated or install it as is?

With all due respect to Noland's fine book(s), the Judging Guides are updated fairly regularly as new info becomes available, I don't think his books have been updated since first printing some years ago.
