    From Dale Pearman's Family

    Greetings to all who have posted the messages to Dale.

    Dale Pearman was my Mother's half-brother. I know how much he appreciate the stimulating Corvette discussions here on this and other boards. Your best wishes to him posted here would certainly warm his heart and rev his motor.

    Dale's wish was to be cremated and have half of his ashes spread over his mother's grave, and the other half sent to the Corvette Museum in Kentucky.

    There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at 2 PM in Milan, Tennessee, at Bodkin Funeral Home.

    Dale was engrossed in life. There was not a topic you could not have an intelligent, though sometimes irreverant, conversation about with him. But conversation with Dale would almost always lead to the cars, and his love and appreciation for them was apparent to all who had the opportunity to speak with him.

    Dale's keen insight, his sometimes warped sense of humor, and his enthusiasm will be missed.

    Thank you to all of you for being a part of his life.

    My heart aches for you and all of his family. Dale's knowledge of Corvettes and his unfound kindness to help others will surely be missed.

      Dale was a great friend and mentor to many of us. He will be sorely missed.

          I have never met Dale in person, but since I have owned my car (august of 2000) I have been an avid reader of this web site. And the funniest comment I have every heard was involving Dales comments on the re-stamping of motors in midyears (I went thru the archives and could not find it so I assume it was from the old open discussion board)

          His comment were along the lines that in 20 years or so there was going to be a lot of angry landscaping and masons contractors that when they go to restore their trucks and find the corvette enthusiast took all the good dump truck motors. I can tell you I still laugh out loud when thinking of that conversation.

          I wanted to share my thoughts.

            Greetings;
            Those of you that have corresponded with Dale through the years will recognize that introduction. I joined NCRS about two years ago when I bought my 61. My first and most ignorant question posted to the tech board ,was first answered by Dale. Dale's wisdom,knowledge,wit and most of all kindness will be sorely missed by all that he touched, and their numbers are legion
