    C3 Rear End

Just completed the replacement of the front seal of the differential thanks to all the great help from this group. It always seems like other problems crop up. Trying to reinstall the support that attaches to the differential with two horizontal bolts then attaches to the frame with rubber donuts and a single bolt. I cannot get the hole aligned to insert both bolts and when I put the rubber donut in place it offsets it even further. I am putting the large rubber donut between the bracket and the frame, with the smaller one above the frame on the bolt head side. What am I doing wrong? I even put a jack under it to try and lift it into place. Is this a common problem? I can get the back bolt through and the rubber donut in place but not the front bolt and back bolt. Help please.

I had the same problem when I replaced my rubber bumper also. This is normal. You just simply have to pry it back into position with a pry bar or equivalen tool.
