    C2 Shock Absorbers

    Members,
When purchasing new shocks (front & rear) for my '65, what is the best choice considering the factors of ride, handling, and meeting judging standards?

    Thanks,
    Gene

If you're thinking of having the car judged, then you definitely want to stay with a form of Delco shock since you'll garner partial credit for it being a form of GM service replacement part. Personally, I've found the current gas filled, Delco Pleasurizer shocks quite adequate for normal driving and occassional judging. Just re-paint them to match factory original installed color and you should get 60-80% of the available originality points during the judging process.
