I need to know if original 1967 3x2 tri-power carbs (secondaries) 3659 had an angle cut vent tube installed in the front hole of the air horn. I have gotten conflicting information on this.
The 1967 Chevrolet Chassis Overhaul Manual has pictures of the secondary carbs with the angled vent tubes. I have two original carbs with angled vent tubes. I also have an early 1967 Chev Corvette advertisement called DEUCESWILD that shows a picture of the carbs with the angled vent tubes.
Yet, other people have said they have original carbs without the vent tubes.
Does anyone know which is correct?? With or without the angle vent tube for the secondary carbs. I know the primary carb 3660 did NOT have the vent tube.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance and feel free to email me or respond on this site.
