    63 ignition shielding front clip

    Hi again-
I recently replaced an incorrect 2 rivet ignition shileding on my '63 SWC with a 3 rivet one that came with the car. When I installed it, I noticed the grounding clip in the front "clips" under the base of the air cleaner AND over the top back, holding it very firmly. The top part actually is a little higher than the level of the chrome lid, and is visible when all is re-installed. I've never noticed this before. References to this part have been the "I" shaped clip (earlier) and "T" shaped clip (later). It may be semantics, but mine looks more like a "C", holding the air cleaner at the bottom and top.
Books I have don't show the part very clearly, nor can I see the top part of the clip extend in photos. Drawings in catalogs show the top part ending before the level of the lid.
I see the clip top very clearly now, and I'm not sure about it. Is this correct?

I think I figured it out....

Upon further review, it appears this is the correct "I" , clip, or part #3824569 according to Noland... unfortunately it is mounted too high and it protrudes above the air lid. The can's VIN is too high for this part, as it should have # 3839334 (the "T" clip") mounted properly, of course.
