C1 Door Handles

I just purchased a set of door handles from CC. How do I get the lever assembly on the back side of the old handles off and how do they re-attach? They look like a press fit. Your advice is greatly appreciated.

On the backside of the outside door handle assemblies, there is an oval shaped metal(?potmetal?)piece. Depress this oval towards the outside face of the handle, then rotate the oval about 90 degrees to removeit, the spring and then the push button. reverse the preceedure to intall the 3 pieces in your new handle.mike
