Can anyone advise what years 7 blade fan would fit the 66/67 427 hub without modification. I'm not in need of total correct.....would just like to try a 7 blade that looks somewhat correct and to know what to look for, either at swap meets or on the net. Thanks.

Just about any pre-71 Corvette 7 blade fan blade will do the trick. For original mid year and early C3 applications, 7 blade units were pretty much limited to SOME A/C-equipped cars. For 1970, the use of 7 blade fans expanded quite a bit.
The best bet in my opinion: use a GM #3955182. This is a 17-1/2", 7 blade fan originally used for certain 1969 A/C applications. It will fit your application perfectly (in fact, it's the GM-specified SERVICE replacement for 1966-67 big block applications), it will have a configuration similar to original 7 blade fans, and, it's still available from GM in NEW condition.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

Thanks Joe. I tried a GM dealer with the part number you listed and he said it comes up discontinued. Know where else I could try? Thanks again.Comment

I see that the 3955182 might have been very recently discontinued. I guess that means that the used or eBay route might be all that's left.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
