1962 Impala and Corvette shifters

I'd like to learn the exact differences between the 1962 Impala B.W. 4-speed shifter / linkage and the Corvette version other than the obvious handle length. For example, the reverse detent mechanism must be different since the passenger car doesn't have a T-handle set-up.

Does anyone have an original passenger car 4-speed spaghetti shifter and linkage that they can study or photo for me? I've already got good dimensioned drawings of the '62 Corvette shifter and linkage.

I have an original shifter from a passenger car that I can take measurements from. Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to get photos to you electronically.
I'm sure the rods would be longer for the Corvette shifter, since it bolts to the rear holes in the tailhousing, whereas the passenger shifter bolts to the front 3 holes.
The parts book should be a good way of comparing applications between the two models. If you want me to check specific things on mine, let me know.

Jerry, the passenger car uses a slightly longer tail shaft, with different shifter holes. Would you like to see a picture? I have an extra one if you need one.

The tailshaft extension is shown as the SAME for 57-63 Pasg AND Vette, (Gr. 4.317), #3813488.
