1953 VIN

I am interested in getting the correct VIN configuration for '53 corvettes We currently have a 53 in storage but it's not accessible. My NCRS manual for '53 is missing in action! I have come accross another '53 through a friend and need to verify the VIN -looks peculiar. Does anyone know what the correct character/digits breakdown should be? Thanks in advance. It would seem that it is now time for you to make your 1953 "accessible" and recite what you BELIEVE the VIN # to be; who knows, you might even be able to get a response! Of course, you might also run into about 100 or so individuals who keep very close track of 1953 serial numbers.
