C3 Tip for changing the spark plugs

I have a 1975 corvette convertible that I am trying to change the spark plugs on. I have been able to replace 5 of the 8 but the remaining 3 are in a hard to reach spot. I need to replace three on the passengers side. Two are towards the firewall and the other is towards the front end of the car under the AC compressor. I know I have to take the cover plate off the plugs near the firwall to get to them.

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to get to these plugs by removing any specific parts of the car or any steps to replace them?

I have a '68, so I don't know how much different a '75 may be, but two thoughts come to mind. First, I change the plugs on my '68 with A/C from under the car. It gives me the best view, plus it's a good way to check for loose ignition shielding bolts, etc. Second idea, and I don't know how well this might work for you, is to remove the front wheel and go in through the wheel well. This worked well for me on a 2nd gen F-body with A/C.

Under the car is the only way I know to do it on a C3 with AC.

I've got a C3 Big Block W/A/C. It is no much fun changing plugs - especially the 2 front ones on the passenger side.

I generally go through the top side of the A-Arm by moving the splash shield aside. From that angle you can actually even SEE the plugs !!!

Still not fun though ... so I always use long lasting platinum tiped plugs ...Not judged anyway
