    C2 - '67 conv. pass window

I noticed this weekend that my passenger side window (conv) looks like it came off the track. Rolled down, the leading edge can easily be moved with your hand, and is clearly not "snugged" into the vertical track. In other words, the window seems to want to "sag" rearward, and is loose.

By moving it slightly back into the vertical track (either by hand or a few repeated "up-cranks"), it goes up freely, and easily. Fully up, it is solid and tight.

I haven't pulled the door panel as yet.

What might be going on inside? Is there an adjustment or something that'll take care of this, or is disassembly needed?

    Thanks.

    Tom,

When I had a simular problem it was because the track system needed to be rebuilt. I made it a winter project and took the doors apart and cleaned and lubed the mechanical stuff and replaced the weatherstrip including the front and rear window channel material. Made everything work like new again.
