Re: 1962 corvette engine compartment hose clamps
Your talking about quit a few answers. You might want to invest in an AIM. It will show you most of what your looking for. What it doesn't can be easily answered by the knowledgable people on this site.

Re: 1962 corvette engine compartment hose clamps
Well take a try...
4) four wittek tower clamps of two sizes for upper and lower radiator hoses
(Tower clamps were used after 58' approx. serial #2990)before then, the wire style was used.
Any one that installs a Tower clamp on the lower radiator on a "driver" car will wish they have not done so when time to remove it comes around!
5/8 dia heater hose uses 2) two corin clamps
3/4 dia heater hose uses 2) two corin clamps
additional there are 3) three or more corin clamps that make the turn from the heater?
The expansion tank uses 3) three screw/threaded types
The AIM covers the locations well except for the heater turns.
There are two clamps for the fuel hose, four for the heater air hose
etc,etc, etc.- Top

Re: 1962 corvette engine compartment hose clamps
Gary,
I sincerely meant my response "Ask the person who sold you them." Really, I was not trying to be a smart ass. I could quote scripture and verse, size, markings, stampings, font, point size, finish, color - but I did not speak with that gentleman and it would be a lengthy dissertation.
Therefore, call your salesman or get some of the reference material that was mentioned. Not an unreasonable request for a detailed list.
Best advise for all
1) Read Nolands Vol 1 and/or Vol 2
2) Get an AIM(s) - I have every one and literally read every one 56-82, and forgotten much.
3) Get some of the NCRS publications
The back of Mr. Noland Adams great Vol. I book has much details on clamps as has the Restorer.
I don't know how anyone restored a Corvette before the mouse was born. Us old farts had to read books.
