    Original '66 coupe headliner

Has anyone ever seen and original '66 coupe headliner that is made of the vehicle carpet?
NCRS judged it a 6 out of 16 total points. I have started to remove it, but it really looks factory. Does anyone want digital photos of the factory appearance backing paper/pad? The vin on the car is 121054. Any other thoughts?

mark: agree with clup. 66 coupe headliners were cardboard like frame with thin foam covered with vinyl. someone added the carpet material, probably because the vinyl commonly seperates from the foam and the vinyl hanging down on their head/face tends to be a distraction, esp @ 80 mph. regards, mike

        Re: 63 coupe headliner

My headliner needs to be replaced. The current model is styrene backed vinyl, a certain reproduction. Do I have any options when looking for a new replacement? Or is only one style available?
